About the Role
- Own the quality of all design deliverables issued to EPC projects, ensuring technical correctness, completeness, adherence to codes, and constructability.
- Ensure all engineering outputs (P&IDs, layouts, models, datasheets, drawings, MTOs, specifications) meet client/contract requirements
- Lead quality governance for Concept → Basic → Detailed Engineering → IFC → As Built.
- Implement stage-gates, discipline-wise checklists, model reviews, and design validation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards:
- ASME, API, AISC, ACI, IS/IEC, EN, AWS, NACE, NFPA, and client specifications.
- Approve deviations, design waivers, and technical clarifications for EPC projects
- Ensure designs are constructible, modular, maintainable, and aligned to site conditions.
- Reduce design-originated rework and site variations.
