Head of Planning

Overview

Owing to continued growth, a leading equipment manufacturer has a new role for a Head of Planning to lead on Planning activities, enhance the planning strategy and oversee the Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of 5 to ensure production schedules and resource planning align with customer demand and manufacturing requirements, including existing manufacturing and introducing new products into manufacturing.
• Oversee day-to-day planning activities and develop and maintain reliable and detailed production schedules and the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Manage inventory policies and levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, coordinating with the Head of Supply Chain to ensure timely material availability.
