Head of Legal, Elite Football Club

Our client is a leading football club in Saudi Arabia, seeking to hire an experienced General Counsel/Head of Legal to join their in-house legal team within the Football Club.

The club is internationally renowned, with significant plans to build out in light of Vision and the FIFA World Cup . The club has a sizeable in-house team currently, and has a strong squad with internationally recognised players and coaching staff.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience working within Football Clubs at the highest level, handling Corporate and Commercial matters, with a specialism in Sports law. The day-to-day work will include handling player transfers and contracts along with whilst working in an environment with multiple stakeholders.

Coming into the role, the successful candidate will report directly to the board and CEO whilst managing the legal team; for this reason, experience managing a legal team is crucial.
