Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef (Malay Section) to lead and manage the Malay kitchen operations at our Ipoh outlet. The ideal candidate must be currently based in Ipoh, possess strong leadership skills, and have solid expertise in authentic Malay cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and kitchen discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations for the Malay cuisine section
- Plan, prepare, and execute authentic Malay dishes with consistent quality and presentation
- Develop and standardize recipes, portion control, and food costing
- Supervise, train, and discipline kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and teamwork
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and Halal standards
