About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure VMware HCX in on-prem and OCI environments according to the approved design.
- Install and configure HCX components, including Interconnect, Network Extension, and Service Mesh.
- Establish secure site pairing between on-prem and OCI.
- Configure Layer 2 extensions and validate network connectivity.
- Perform system validation, testing, and optimization post-deployment.
- Troubleshoot deployment, connectivity, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and cloud teams.
- Document configurations, deployment steps, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
- Advanced networking knowledge (L2/L3, routing, VLANs, firewall policies, VPN, BGP/OSPF).
