Hardware Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Hardware Quality Engineer to own and build the quality system across Lightspeed’s hardware ecosystem – payment terminals/readers, printers, networking, tablets, and POS accessories – ensuring devices meet high performance standards and technical issues are resolved permanently across our portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain overall quality strategy, including a consistent testing framework, quality gates, and acceptance criteria across the hardware portfolio.
• Lead structured investigations into hardware failures, perform root cause analysis, identify containment plans, and ensure their execution.
• Define and maintain the supplier performance monitoring and inspection plans for inbound inventory.
• Support returns triage and disposition decisions.
• Publish recurring quality dashboards and narratives for stakeholders and leadership.
