About the Role
Airswift is recruiting an Electrical/Electronic Engineer – Hardware to support R&D activities to work for one of our O&G clients. This is a permanent, full-time position based 100% on-site in Rio de Janeiro city.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, test, and integrate analog and digital printed circuit boards (PCBs) for downhole tools used in harsh operational environments.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering teams, scientists, and project managers to support tool development lifecycle.
- Work with international development teams to ensure design consistency and integration.
- Conduct simulation and modeling of hardware designs using tools such as LTSPICE or PSPICE.
- Develop PCB layouts using CAD tools such as PADS or Altium Designer.
- Perform hands‑on testing and validation using laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
