About the role
As a Hardware Engineer within the INS and IAS Subsystems (ICT Subsystem), you will play a key role in delivering engineering services across the design, delivery, acceptance and sustainment of the JP Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS).
Working closely with Systems Engineers, you will take ownership of hardware-based design activities, producing equipment specifications, assemblies, installation instructions, cable diagrams and associated Product Baseline documentation that underpin critical Defence capability.
This role spans the full Engineering Product Lifecycle, applying sound engineering principles to develop calculations, technical solutions and design improvements.
You will conduct technical investigations and risk assessments, ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures, and contribute to secure configuration and data management.
