Position Description

SickKids' Health Absence Management Program (HAMP) supports employees through occupational and non-occupational health absences, accommodation, and return-to-work planning. The program is grounded in collaborative, respectful, and evidence-informed practices that promote safe, timely, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to apply disability management best practices that support stay-at-work efforts and early, safe, and sustainable return-to-work following workplace or non-work-related illness or injury.
• Assess functional abilities and work capacity in relation to the essential duties of a position to support return-to-work and accommodation planning.
• Manage employee absences and adjudicate short-term disability benefits in a timely, consistent, and respectful manner.
