Group Accountant

My client is in an ever evolving industry and over the last few years is now the second largest organisation in NZ for what they specialise in due to their innovative thinking and ability to adapt to the market quickly. Based in the CBD this position will be supporting the Financial Controller as an Accountant. This is a full time position and is based in their office Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm (they do allow flexible start and finish times but it is a full time position).

As the Accountant you will be responsible for 5 entities of the group carrying out:

• All accounts payable tasks.
• Accounts receivable.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Journals.
• Streamline systems and processes and maintain the systems
• Prepare and review monthly statements and partner with the stakeholders in each entity to help them understand their P&L and budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with the group annual budgets and forecasts
