Grades Person - Base

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for an EXPERIENCED GRADES PERSON to join our BASE division.

This is full time seasonal position that offers a competitive wage with benefits.

The primary responsibilities, duties, and expectations of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Understands grades and general survey, and possesses the ability to read and understand drawings
• Provide accurate cut and fill directions for grader operator

• The ability to read grade stakes, offsetting hubs, and taking measurements
• Must know how to differentiate grade markings and measuring points
• Ability to work long hours and overtime in a physically demanding work setting
• Assist in equipment pre/post trip inspections and general maintenance
