About the Role
1. Google Cloud Networking
- Design VPC networks, routing, and connections
- Work with Google’s Network Connectivity Center
- Fix network issues and troubleshoot connectivity problems
2. Firewalls (Palo Alto + GCP NSI)
- Manage firewall policies and security rules
- Review threat logs and make updates when needed
3. Secure Web Proxy
- Manage web filtering rules and category controls
- Fix issues like blocked websites or certificate errors
4. Monitoring & Alerts
- Work with logs, metrics, dashboards
- Tune alerts and investigate problems (RCA = root cause analysis)
Experience needed
- 10–16 years in public cloud
- 4–5 years specifically in Google Cloud
- Very strong knowledge of GCP networking, security, and troubleshooting
