GIS Application Programmer

The GIS Application Programmer will support the GIS Operations Team and other departments in scoping, designing, programming and deploying Web-GIS applications for staff and DMCs that build on and integrate seamlessly with Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) / Enterprise GIS.
Under the supervision of the Senior GIS Specialist, liaise with departments and staff, to identify their needs for customized Web-GIS applications,
Familiarize with the Spatial Data Infrastructure, both in ITD as well as map-enabled business apps like CDIH, CCDRMS, MATALAS, etc.,
In collaboration with the GIS Server Manager and Administrator, identify the technical and security requirements for developing Web-GIS applications or plugins,
Support consultant teams hired by individual projects to develop standards and security-conform applications that integrate seamlessly with the SDI / Enterprise GIS,
