About the Role
The City of Burnaby’s Corporate Services Department is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GIS Analyst. Our GIS team is growing and expanding to support the increasing demand for GIS services in the City.
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced GIS projects, including preliminary investigation, requirement analysis, design, configuration, documentation, and implementation of complex custom GIS applications.
- Design and develop GIS solutions utilizing programming, automation, and system integration to support real‑time data feeds, spatial analytics, and decision‑making tools across multiple business departments and divisions.
- Provide project management and technical leadership on GIS application projects.
