Geriatrician 

An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Geriatrician and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team Older Persons and Rehabilitation Team in Rotorua, The Lakes Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service.

Our excellent team is based in a purpose built 24-bedded ward that provides care for older patients and those requiring rehabilitation or who have suffered a stroke. Our team consists of one other specialist, a geriatric nurse specialist, a registrar and house officer as well an excellent interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals and nurses. We are committed to providing the best outcomes for our patients. 

We also provide outpatient and community assessments in both Rotorua and Taupo. We work closely with our surgical and anaesthetic colleagues and provide a perioperative frailty service.
