About the Role

Job Description
SGS is expanding its Geotechnical Engineering capability in Western Australia, and we are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to establish and lead this function. This newly created role will work closely with our Construction Materials Testing (CMT) team to deliver geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reporting for mining, construction, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and lead geotechnical services in WA, providing technical leadership across field investigations, analysis, and reporting.
Plan and execute site investigations including drilling supervision, in-situ testing, logging, sampling, and coordination with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and SGS safety requirements.
