Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Geotechnical Engineer/Civil Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of engineers, supporting various major geotechnical and geo‑environmental projects including investigation, design and construction projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform and/or coordinate a variety of geotechnical/civil engineering tasks to complete designs for a variety of projects, including remediation and infrastructure projects such as cutoff walls, mines, landfills, bridge foundation, roadway design, retaining walls, excavations, and solidification.
• Write design reports and memos.
• Assist in developing design drawings and writing technical specifications.
• Perform and/or coordinate engineering calculations, such as slope stability, settlement and finite element analysis.
• Develop and/or coordinate field investigation programs.
