GP Conversion Programme – IMG Rural Programme (Ireland)

Pathway: General Registration → Specialist GP Registration

We are recruiting established GPs and doctors with recent, comparable GP experience to join a structured conversion programme in rural Ireland. This programme enables doctors to convert from General Registration to Specialist GP registration with the Irish Medical Council.

Key Requirements

• ✔️ Medical degree eligible for Irish Medical Council registration
• ✔️ South African internship completed from 2006 onwards (2-year internship)
• ✔️ Minimum 36 months GP experience
• Cruise ship medical experience accepted
• ✔️ Established GP or strong recent GP-equivalent experience

Role

• Work 3, 4 or 5 days per week in a clinic
