General Manager – Engineering – IR

Role Summary

Lead engineering for Industrial Refrigeration (IR) solutions at Johnson Controls. Own design standards,

innovation, compliance, and delivery for ammonia/CO systems. Drive productivity, safety, and customer

satisfaction while managing a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define engineering strategy and standards for IR systems.

• Oversee design, calculations, equipment selection, 3D & 2D drawings, PFD, P&ID and compliance (IIAR, ASHRAE, ISO, ASME, PED or any relevant standard as applicable) for Pre-sales

Validation of equipment designs by using PVeLite or equivalent software, system design, P&ID, Plant Layout, valves & controls etc. post order and release to manufacturing / projects / vendors.
