GCP Cloud Engineer

APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a GCP Cloud Engineer in Toronto, Canada . Design and manage Google Cloud Platform infrastructure including GKE, Cloud Run, and BigQuery, building scalable data-intensive applications for APPIT Software in Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage GCP infrastructure including GKE clusters, Cloud Run services, and Cloud SQL instances
• Design and implement data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub for analytics workloads
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy with automated canary analysis
• Implement GCP networking solutions including shared VPCs, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud NAT
• Configure IAM policies, organization constraints, and VPC Service Controls for security compliance
• Optimize GCP costs through committed use discounts, preemptible VMs, and resource rightsizing
