Full Stack Developer

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform software development, enhancements, and bug fixes for Racing Victoria applications, resulting from user raised incidents, BAU and assigned project tasks.
• Maintain and improve overall quality of the code base. Adhere to high standards of development practices and continuous improvement.
• Perform hands‑on solution design, solution architectures, prototyping / proof‑of‑concepts as required in support of RV product and digital transformation initiatives.

Personal Skills & Qualities

• Extensive knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Programming languages / frameworks / tools:
• React and Gatsby frontend Framework
• Node.js, JavaScript, GraphQL API
• Unit testing framework, e.g., Jest
• AWS native services (including Lambda, API Gateway)
