Front-End Software Developer

The Client is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Developer to support the development and enhancement of its central Special Events application. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining modern web applications that support event permit applications, safety submissions, and information sharing across City divisions.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Front-End Development experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, Backbone.js, Stencil.js (Web Components), and REST API integrations.
• 10+ years of Accessibility experience with strong knowledge of WCAG 2.x AA, AODA, and WAI-ARIA, including developing accessible web and mobile applications.
• 10+ years of Authentication & Security experience implementing OpenID Connect (OIDC), PKCE, Authorization Code Flow, and modern web security best practices.
