I run a small web shop, and I am looking for an as-needed, freelance web developer to help balance the load on client projects. This is a highly flexible, remote role with no meetings, no stand-ups, and no micromanagement. You work when it fits your schedule.
The Work: Most tasks are normal website things for small businesses and non-profits: WordPress troubleshooting, PHP fixes, CSS/layout tweaks, small JavaScript issues, and basic hosting tasks. Occasionally, there are new site builds (WordPress, Shopify, or static HTML) or dusty, legacy PHP codebases that need a patient mechanic to trace errors, allowing one thing to lead to the next.
