Founding Backend Engineer

We are building a deep-tech backend system that connects enterprise e-commerce platforms, physical security devices, delivery agents, and customers in real time.
This is a founding backend role with end-to-end ownership of the entire backend architecture. You will design and build the core systems that integrate partner companies, manage device lifecycles, power delivery-agent workflows, and enable customer control through secure applications.
What you will own
Design and build secure, encrypted backend APIs for partner companies (e-commerce & logistics platforms)
Handle order ingestion with privacy-first architecture (anonymized tokens, minimal data sharing)
Generate and manage order-linked QR codes and device identifiers
Build backend services that communicate with physical security devices (IoT-style state management)
Implement real-time workflows for:
Device locking / unlocking
Customer authentication (UCC + OTP)
Tamper detection and alerts
