Forwarding Manager

Role Overview

The Forwarding Manager is responsible for managing import and export forwarding operations to ensure shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves leading customs clearance activities, supervising the operations team, coordinating with authorities and vendors, and driving continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customs Clearance & Regulatory Compliance

• Lead and supervise full customs clearance processes for import and export shipments

• Ensure correct HS/HTS code classification, tariff application, and duty/tax calculations

• Review and validate customs declarations (K1, K2, K4, K8, K9, etc.)

• Handle ZB submission via uCustoms, including document verification and exemption follow-ups

• Liaise with Customs, MAQIS, SIRIM, MITI, KKM, CIDB, and relevant authorities
