Job Description
As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be part of a large crew responsible for constructing forms for various concrete structures such as slabs, elevated slabs, stairs, and parkades. You will also engage in concrete placing and finishing, primarily within commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Construct, erect, install, and strip formwork systems.
- Form footings, pile caps, grade beams, slabs, and other concrete structures.
- Install anchor bolts and embedded steel for concrete pours.
- Build hoardings and frame temporary shelters as needed.
- Tie rebar, pour, and finish concrete.
- Utilize hand tools proficiently.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3 years of commercial concrete formwork experience, including 1 year of high-rise work.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
