About the Role

 As the Forklift Operator, you will have the opportunity to help our Metrie business meet production targets through the reduction of down time, ensuring JIT (just in time) delivery, bringing proper materials and quantities consistently, and ensuring safety through a clean and organized work area in our Toronto, ON facility.
Shift Available: Friday to Sunday (6AM to 6PM)
Responsibilities
Engaged in supporting MPS initiatives (i.e., Safety, SMED, Continuous Improvement, 6S, etc.)
Lead by example to ensure Metrie’s core value is met; P.R.I.C.E (Passion, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence)
Ensure all forklift related policies and departmental procedures are being followed
Understanding of production scheduling system
Ensure that daily checks sheets on your forklift are being filled out while reporting any non-compliances
