Job Description Job Description Forest Technician - Falconer, New York Our Falconer, NY forestry team seeks a highly motivated, Full Time Forestry Technician to join our progressive, growing team. The ideal candidate would be located within 30 miles of Falconer, NY. A two-year or four-year degree in Forestry or closely related field is required, or applicants must have 2+ years of practical field forestry/timber procurement experience. Interviewing/ Hiring timeline: Open Principal Duties Include: Timber inventory (cruising) Timber sale preparation (timber marking) Forest data collection, including GPS and photographic information Other duties related to forest management for our long-term clients Principal Requirements include: An Associate's (or higher) degree in Forestry, Forest Technology, or Environmental Biology, or 2 years minimum of practical field forestry experience is required.
