FMCG or Fashion Buyer / Assistant Buyer

A well- known company is seeking a Buyer /Assistant Buyer supports the purchasing department with the selection and procurement of products. The Buyer/Assistant Buyer's responsibilities include maintaining positive inter-departmental and vendor relations, apply retail and pricing strategies, monitor and track purchase orders, manage inventory and keep track of market trends.


Sales:

•Compile and analyze reports on product performance and statistics including sales/stock reports

• Assist the buyer in analysis and recommend appropriate action where necessary
• Analyse market trends to ensure competitive retail pricing strategy in the aim of securing budgeted profit margins

• Familiarize with competition on the home market and studying competition at other airports
