Northern Southland College is a small secondary school located in the rural community of Lumsden, Southland. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes it is also close to the great adventure and outdoor activities of Queenstown and Te Anau.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative teacher who is passionate about teaching students at all levels. This is for a fixed term position to cover maternity leave. The position is predominantly teaching year 7-10 classes, but there may be an opportunity to teach Senior English.

The successful applicant will recognise and value the importance of embedding Mātauranga Māori within the curriculum and have a willingness to participate in the extra-curricular life of the school.
