First Cook - $20.09 hr

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better. 1st Cook Full Time - Red Seal Preferred. Location: Standfield Airport (YHZ) - 11 Red Wing Drive Goffs, NS.

We are now hiring for 1st Cook to work in our flight kitchen located at the Stanfield Airport. This position is represented by a labor Union and is covered by one or more collective bargaining agreement - UNIONIZED A. This role is classified as a “screener” role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing and cooking various food items according to recipes.
• Observing and enforcing strict food safety requirements.
• Sautéing, poaching, baking, grilling, and sauce preparation.
• Working with broilers, fryers, grills, ovens and stove‑top cooking.

• At least 3 years experience cooking in a high-volume catering environment.
