Fire & Security Service Engineer

Overview

V7 are seeking skilled Service & Maintenance Engineers to work on a large-scale public sector programme across the Bath & Somerset area. This is a long-running contract with our national client, offering consistent, ongoing work and great potential for long-term subcontract opportunities. You'll service and maintain emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and security systems (including access control and intercom panels) across a range of public buildings—housing, education facilities, and care environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, testing, and compliance checks on emergency lighting in line with BS 5266.
• Service, fault-find, and repair both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839.
• Service and maintain security systems, including access control and intercom panels (diagnostics, repairs, and testing).
