Financial Controller

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing company in the construction industry, for a Controller to join their leadership team based in Vaughan, Ontario. This role is full-time on-site.

This role is hands‑on and operational, with direct responsibility for Accounts Payable, day‑to‑day accounting, and financial controls, while partnering closely with the Group Controller to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and scalable processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong accounting leader who thrives in a construction / project‑based environment and enjoys building structure across growing entities.

Key Responsibilities include:

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Oversee full‑cycle accounting for the company and assigned portfolio companies
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
