About the Role

For our client, based in Rotterdam, we are looking for a Financial Controller (m/f/x). The Financial Controller is responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting of the business and internal controls and ensures compliance with accounting standards and with government regulations.
Tasks and responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
Timely and accurate financial reporting of the business per the various cycles, including the preparation of monthly trial balance, management accounts and 3 statement accounts for purposes of consolidation into the Group accounts; annual statutory reporting and budgeting and reforecasting preparation and variance analysis
Conduct detailed margin analysis with a clear understanding of the revenue and cost drivers
Assisting the senior management team with cost control, identifying areas for efficiency and savings
