Financial Controller

We're hiring a Corporate Controller to own the integrity of Aplazo's books, close, reporting, and financial controls across the full group — operating entity, holdco, and securitization/warehouse SPVs. You'll run accounting, tax, technical accounting, payment ops accounting, financial systems, and controls, and act as the CFO's right hand on audit, capital markets, regulatory, and IPO readiness. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who has built and scaled a finance function in consumer lending or fintech, can speak the language of Risk and Capital Markets, and is actively using AI and automation to modernize how the close works.

What You'll Own

Close, Consolidation & Reporting

• Monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all entities — operating co, holdco, trusts, and SPVs — with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation.
• Consolidated financials under US GAAP and Mexican GAAP (NIF), including the walk between them.
