About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Cost Accounting global hub operation activities including inventory & variance analysis, standard setting, month-end close, account reconciliations and inventory.
- Ensure that global inventory operations are conducted in line with acceptable financial policies and SOX requirements.
- Provide consulting on inventory processes and policies and address specific business needs from cross-functional departments, including business initiatives related to inventory.
- Test, document and stabilize new system releases, applications and solutions ensuring compliance with SOX and other applicable accounting practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / MBA or any recognized qualification in Accounting.
- At least 5 years working experience, preferably with exposure in multi-national environment / public accounting with good business acumen preferred.
