The role
As a Financial Accountant, you will be required to:
Prepare accurate year‑end financial statements, manage the year‑end audit process and contribute to ASIC's Annual Report financial disclosuresAssist with external reporting obligations, including Portfolio Budget Statements and monthly reporting to the Department of Finance and TreasuryContribute to the timely and accurate completion of statutory and external reporting requirements in line with mandated deadlinesProvide technical accounting advice on complex and emerging issues, including interpretation of accounting standards and policiesPrepare and review month‑end journals and balance sheet reconciliations in ASIC's financial management information systemAssist in managing actuarial valuations as requiredContribute to the development and implementation of finance policies, procedures, governance frameworks and educa...
