Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership & Control
- Routine Engagement: Establish a structured communication routine with key marketing stakeholders. Attend marketing planning meetings to understand the “how” and “why” behind upcoming campaigns.
- Campaign Evaluation: Review campaign proposals and business cases prior to approval. Act as a “Critical Friend”—challenging assumptions, vetting ROI projections, and flagging potential risks or insufficiencies in the plan.
- Workflow Integration: Deeply understand the marketing workflow (from creative brief to vendor payment) to identify bottlenecks or areas for cost optimization.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Expense Monitoring: Track marketing expenditure at a granular level (by campaign, channel, vendor, and category). Ensure data integrity and correct cost allocation.
