Field Engineer / Supervisor

Job Description Summary What You'll Own
Field Supervision & Site Leadership
•Lead and supervise GE Vernova field teams and subcontractors across GIS installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization (retrofit) projects - 69 kV to 800 kV
•Drive efficient execution through hands-on coordination of manpower, tools, equipment, and site resources
•Serve as the primary GE Vernova representative and customer interface on site
•Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and Job Safety Analyses (JSA/AHA)
•Manage site interfaces with clients, contractors, commissioning teams, and project managers
•Monitor installation progress and deliver accurate daily, weekly, and final site reports
•Support commissioning, high-voltage testing, and punch list closure through to formal client handover
