About the Role
**Description**
Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), is seeking a skilled **Field Electronics Technician** to support a U.S. Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case and the Canadian Defense Force (CDF) Program Office in Ottawa.
This position is available only to Canadian citizens and will involve work in Canada.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in testing, maintaining, and repairing radar simulation pods and supporting military RF Jamming Pods and Emitters used for air combat training.
**Key Responsibilities:**
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
+ Perform testing, maintenance, and repairs of Radar Simulation Pods in both lab environments and on various aircraft.
+ Install, diagnose, and verify electronic warfare equipment on a range of aircraft types.
+ Maintain safe work practices while operating in ramp/line environments, particularly in and around jet aircraft.
