Field Application Engineer – Short Range Wireless

Overview

We are looking for a Short Range Wireless Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support customers using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SOM(NXP I.MX)and other short-range wireless technologies. This role focuses on wireless bring-up, RF performance optimization, and system-level debugging for North American customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for short-range wireless modules (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, combo modules, SOM(NXP I.MX))
• Support Wi-Fi / Bluetooth bring-up, firmware integration, and platform debugging
• Assist customers with antenna integration, RF layout review, and performance optimization (TRP/TIS)
• Troubleshoot connectivity, throughput, coexistence, and stability issues
• Support regulatory and certification testing (FCC, ISED, PTCRB)
• Work closely with internal RF, firmware, and R&D teams to resolve complex issues
