Reporting to the Superintendent, the Fibre Optic Splicer will be responsible for performing activities related to connecting, testing and validating the integrity of new and existing outside plant telecommunication networks. Please note that this position is unionized, therefore it will be a requirement to join the union upon acceptance. 
What You'll Do Here:
Splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of infrastructure, Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) or customer builds

Daily updates, documentation and reporting on work completed

Completion of daily safety documentation with a focus on accuracy and potential hazards

Inspecting fiber routes and hub sites ...
