About the Role

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction to students in the Digital Fabrication and Design program.
  • Prepare and deliver teaching strategies and assessments that meet course learning outcomes, including fundamental 3D design skills and 2D drawing skills.
  • Ensure students adhere to standard operating procedures; correctly install, operate and maintain all machines; and follow safety protocols.
  • Ensure curriculum alignment with the Selkirk College Strategic Vision and industry trends.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback promptly.
  • Be a positive and active participant in the program’s responsibilities.
  • Create and maintain a positive and respectful learning environment while always acting with professionalism.
  • Maintain student records, grades, and course outlines while adhering to institutional standards and expectations for professional practice.
