Fabric Manager

Job Description :

• Industry : Garment •Receive new fabric sourcing requirements from customer/merchants and find suitable supplier. •Develop the new fabrics as per customer requirements. •Submit new fabrics to customer with required test reports. •Negotiate prices for new fabrics. •Review quality issues from QA, Merchant and factories and give solutions/decisions. •Review and approved Lad Dips and bulk dye lots. •Prepare fabric collections for customer visits as appropriate •Visit mills to discuss price, quality and capacity as required for merchant teams. •Keep an eye in yarn price trend on line. •Get updated on latest developments/technologies in yar/fabric/dyeing/printing. •Identify the need for new supplier and source appropriate supplier. •Monitor the process in mills and act on right time to avoid any quality issues. •Maintain relationship with mills.
