About the Role
The F&B Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations related to food and beverage inventory, cost control, sales reconciliation, and reporting. This role ensures accurate recording of all F&B transactions and supports decision-making by providing detailed cost and profitability analyses. Monitor and control F&B inventory transactions and ensure accurate cost allocations. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly sales reconciliation between POS systems and accounting records. Verify and analyze purchases, consumption, and wastage reports to ensure proper cost control. Collaborate with the purchasing and stores departments to ensure compliance with procurement procedures. Prepare cost of goods sold (COGS) reports and profitability analysis per outlet or item. Review supplier invoices, match with purchase orders, and coordinate timely payments.
