Position Title: Experienced Utility Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Utility HDD Operator to safely and efficiently operate horizontal directional drilling equipment for the installation of underground utilities, including fiber optic, telecommunications, electrical, gas, water, and sewer infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bore planning, utility locating, drill tracking systems, and jobsite safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HDD drilling equipment for utility installation projects.
- Read and interpret utility plans, bore profiles, and construction drawings.
- Perform pre-job inspections and routine maintenance on drilling equipment and support vehicles.
