About the Role
Seeking an Experienced Platework Fabricator & Installer proficient in structural metal fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding. This role emphasizes hands-on assembly and installation of fabricated components.
Candidates should hold a high school graduation certificate and have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in steel fabrication. Your primary function will involve interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints while laying out reference points. You'll be tasked with effectively welding or bolting metal sections to build sturdy structures and managing the movement of materials on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately lay out reference points and patterns
• Study blueprints to understand material requirements
• Assemble and fit plates and sections together
• Weld or bolt components securely
• Install fabricated parts into final products
