**Job Title: HVAC Brazer** **Job Description**
The HVAC Brazer is responsible for cutting, assembling, brazing, and soldering copper, brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, and other tubing for HVAC systems. The role involves using flame torches to join refrigeration piping, ensuring leak-free connections while maintaining high-quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform brazing operations for refrigeration systems using appropriate brazing filler materials to join copper to copper, copper to brass, and copper to stainless steel.
+ Utilize oxy-acetylene, oxy-propane, or oxy-natural gas torches for brazing.
+ Apply standard brazing techniques, including nitrogen purging, to prevent oxidation and create strong, clean, leak-free braze joints.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to assemble HVAC units.
