Expanded Learning Program - High School Intern

Expanded Learning Program - High School Intern supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children. The after-school program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math, and offers a broad array of enrichment activities that complement their regular academic programs.

Interns will learn to plan and deliver youth development lessons and/or family engagement events. Successful candidates demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, organization, a positive attitude, excellent communication, reliability, self-reflection, a growth mindset, consistency, and commitment.
