This role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing packaging materials. This role involves assisting in the selection of high-quality packaging materials, managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining inventory and constant communication with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing a wide range of packaging materials, including boxes, cartons, labels, plastic wraps, and other related supplies from local and overseas vendors.
• Maintain a database of approved packaging suppliers and evaluate their performance based on cost, quality, and delivery times.
• Place purchase orders and follow up on delivery status to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping.
